The Office of Administrative Law Judge (OALJ), was established in 1987 with the passage of Act 14 of 1987. The Office is autonomous from the Liquor Control Board (Board). The judges preside over citations brought by the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement against Board Licensees.
| Adjudications |
In order to assist those who practice before the OALJ, adjudications issued after September 15, 1997, as the result of non-stipulated hearings as well as those adjudications of state-wide significance are available for review. Be advised however that the adjudications set forth do not represent the entire body of Pa. Liquor Law or subsequent Board and/or Court action involving a citation.
