Current Requests For Proposals (RFP)
RFPs are issued to solicit solutions to complex problems where there may be a number of alternatives for solving the problem and factors other than cost need to be evaluated to determine the most viable solution.
An RFP will include: General information regarding the problem, proposal requirements, evaluation criteria, a work statement, a sample contract, and supporting documentation. Proposals submitted in response to RFPs are evaluated by a selection committee using detailed technical criteria in a weighted scoring model. Proposal openings are not public.
