Sunday Sales Information
What to do if you don't have a Sunday Sales Permit
Certain types of liquor licensees (restaurants, hotels, airport restaurants, municipal golf course restaurant liquor licensees and privately-owned public golf course restaurant licensees) who would regularly require a Sunday Sales Permit to operate on a Sunday, may sell alcohol between 1:00 P.M. on Sunday and 2:00 A.M. Monday, on Super Bowl Sunday and the 31st day of December (if a Sunday) and between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. whenever St. Patrick's Day falls on a Sunday, even if they do not have a Sunday Sales Permit.
Retail dispenser licensees (Eating place, municipal golf course eating place, privately-owned public golf course eating place and malt beverage hotels) may not sell malt or brewed beverages on Super Bowl Sunday, the 31st day of December (if a Sunday) and St. Patrick's Day (if a Sunday) without a Sunday Sales Permit.
Liquor Licensees and Retail Dispenser licensees who possess a Sunday Sales Permit may dispense alcohol between 11:00 A.M. Sunday and 2:00 A.M. Monday. Alcohol may be dispensed on Sunday from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., provided the licensee offers a meal beginning at 9:00 A.M.
Airport Restaurant licensees who possess a Sunday Sales Permit may dispense alcohol between the hours of 7:00 A.M. Sunday and 2:00 A.M. Monday.
Importing distributor and distributor licensees (“ID” and “D” licenses) may NOT sell malt or brewed beverages on Sunday, without a Sunday Sales Permit. Importing distributor and distributor licensees who possess a Sunday Sales Permit may sell malt and brewed beverages Sundays between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 9:00 P.M. to non-licensed persons and owners of Special Occasion permits.
