If you're involved in K-12 or postsecondary education, the PLCB can serve as a resource. All of our programs and materials are free to Pennsylvania residents. To learn more about any of the following materials and programs, call 1-800-453-PLCB, or e-mail us at RA-LBEducation@pa.gov.
Our Facebook page contains announcements from the Bureau of Alcohol Education as well as links to the latest prevention news, research, initiatives, and materials.
The Bureau of Alcohol Education provides a variety of prevention materials free of charge, such as posters, coloring sheets, bookmarks, and brochures.
Every year, the Bureau of Alcohol Education holds its Alcohol Awareness Poster Contest for Pennsylvania K-12 students. Outstanding posters are recognized in an awards ceremony at the State Capitol and top entries will be reproduced for use by educators and others for years to come.
The PLCB provides grant money to colleges and universities to assist in implementing evidence-based underage and dangerous drinking prevention strategies in their campus communities. Beginning in 2013, the PLCB Grant to Reduce Underage and Dangerous Drinking will cover a two-year grant cycle.
Visit our Higher Education Resource site for information on evidence-based prevention programming and strategies designed to address the specific needs of colleges and universities and their surrounding communities.
